Five-Day Cascade School Training
This training is for headteachers and senior managers who want to organise and deliver their own training. In order for this to be successful it is vital that the headteacher attends.
Why would I choose this training instead of Whole School Training?
This training will give the senior managers both a deep understanding of how to achieve maximum success with RWI and how to train their staff to implement the programme. It is suitable for very confident head teachers and senior mangers who would like flexibility and control in organising the training in their school. There is also a supporting DVD and inset materials available to help implementation back at school.
When and where does the training take place?
The Cascade Training is a five-day course, split into two blocks. In the initial four-day block managers and heads are taught how to train their own staff. The final training day approximately six weeks later concentrates upon management and further implementation issues.
What support will there be?
Many schools find it useful to book an Implementation and Monitoring Day, to take place around eight weeks after starting to teach Read Write Inc. One of our trainers will spend the day in your school answering queries, modelling lessons and developing an action plan with you.
How much will it cost?
£750 + VAT per person for five days training + £500 + VAT for the whole school Implementation and Monitoring Day.
This includes a RWI handbook. The DVD is available at £200 + VAT , after training.
